Happy Errands-Done-For-You Monday,
"OMG, I'M BARELY SCRATCHING THE SURFACE, but so far this is crazy."
A good friend sent me that. Then another friend texted me, "I used Muse and my life is changed. Thank you so much for suggesting this Regis 🤯"
Now, I know it may not always feel like it, but you have a personal life. 😅 Almost everything I write is about making your workday more efficient. So this week I'm asking a different question. What if I could make your life at home more efficient too?
Because the time you get to breathe at home is the time that shows up at work. A rested ED leads differently than one who spent Saturday stuck at the DMV.
So instead of just talking about it, let me jump straight in.
----------
Actionable Task:
Read what real people near us here in Colorado are doing with Muse, then try one yourself.
These aren't influencers. They're me, my friends and family.
The last one is INSANE!!!!
The DMV run. I bought a new car and needed temp tags. I had my Muse look at my calendar, find a window long enough to drive there and back, booked the DMV appointment, put it on my calendar, and texted me reminders. If that wasn't enough, it took its own initiative and sent me a list of everything I needed to bring to properly register the car.
The side hustle. My good friend BK is using it to make money. (Don't judge him for being a nerd.) He has Muse researching for high-value, low-priced Pokémon cards online, then Muse negotiates the price down even lower, and schedules the meetup back and forth.
The grocery 1-up. I recommended for my wife to use Muse to build our shopping list for King Soopers pickup and put it in the shopping cart. To her credit, she 1-upped me. She had Muse load the groceries into our carts at both King Soopers AANND Walmart, compare which store was cheaper, complete the order, and put the pickup time on our calendar. 🤯
Raining raving reviews. A friend of mine believes the world complains too much, so he loves sharing good news. This week he had Muse post five honest 5-star Google reviews for places he felt truly deserved them. It took him one text. And it made the week for five people. I got to witness one: he told an older lady at Chick-fil-A that he'd just left a review about her because she was so amazing. Her face said it all.
(Personally, I think we should all try this one. I know I will.)
If you haven't already, read last week's post about personal agents. This is what it looks like.
Drum roll..🥁🥁🥁
.....And finally, the best most wow one I've seen so far.....
Kanye West: "Ay ay yo Regis, Imma let you finish, but ChatGPT just dropped their own agent called Dots last week, and it's one of the best agents of all time!!!!"
🤦🏾♂️
(That famous TV Voice Speaking)
-Will Regis ever get to let us know what the person did?
-Is ChatGPT Dots even that good?
-Will Kanye West ever stop Kanye Westing?!?!!
To Be Continued..... (Dramatic Song Fading)
I guess we'll see next week on Mondayyyyy Motivational Minute

P.S. Free Office Hours for EDs
My faith says give ten percent back.
Giving ten percent of your money is hard. Giving ten percent of your time is harder. That's exactly why I HAVE TO GET to do it.
So four hours a week are yours. Tell me the task that's eating you, the question you've been sitting on, or the AI thing you're curious about, but haven't had time to figure out. I solve it on the call. Free.
Not a pitch. Not a demo. Just my tithe.

Mondays are rough. It's scary times for Nonprofits. Your time is scarce. That’s why I created the Monday Motivational Minute. Each week, I’ll send you one high-impact, actionable idea to help you leverage AI and save time. It will always be a 1-minute-ish read. If it adds value, great. If not, unsubscribe, but I’m betting you’ll want to stay. (Challenge Accepted ☺️)

Here's the prompt my wife used
"Here's my grocery list for this week: [PASTE YOUR LIST].
Add every item to my carts at both King Soopers and Walmart. Then compare the total cost at each store, including any fees.
Tell me which store is cheaper and by how much. Before you place anything, show me the final cart and ask me to confirm.
Once I approve, complete the order at the cheaper store for pickup, choose the earliest pickup time that fits my calendar, and add the pickup to my calendar with a reminder 30 minutes before."
The "ask me to confirm" line matters. It keeps Muse from spending your money before you've seen the cart."
